To modify the text of your liability waivers, you need to update the content within your Mindbody account. Here’s how:
- Log In to Mindbody:
- Access your Mindbody account using your credentials.
- Navigate to Business Policies:
- Go to Settings > More > General Setup and Options.
- Click on Liability Waiver and Business Policies to expand the section.
- Edit the Liability Waiver Text:
- In the Liability Waiver Text box, enter or modify the waiver content as needed.
- Ensure the Liability Waiver option is enabled to prompt clients to agree to the waiver during account creation or booking.
- Save Changes:
- After editing, click Update to save your changes.
Important Considerations:
- Client Agreement: Once updated, new clients will be prompted to agree to the revised waiver. Existing clients who have previously agreed may not be prompted automatically. To have existing clients agree to the new terms, you might need to reset their waiver status.
- Resetting Waiver Status:
- To reset an individual client’s waiver status:
- Navigate to the client’s Info screen.
- Click on Additional Information.
- Uncheck the Liability waived by box.
- Click Save.
- For a mass reset, contact Mindbody Support for assistance.
- To reset an individual client’s waiver status:
- App Behavior: Liability waivers will prompt in the app only for clients who have not previously agreed to the waiver.
